Basic Cooking Instructions

 

BEEF OVEN ROASTS
Bake at 350 degrees F.

RARE: 15 to 18 minutes per pound until Internal Temperature reaches
140 degrees F.

MEDIUM: 20 minutes
per pound until Internal Temperature reaches
150 degrees F.

WELL: 25 minutes
per pound until Internal Temperature reaches
170 degrees F.

TENDERLOIN
ROAST OF BEEF

Bake at 350 degrees F.

RARE: 15 to 18 minutes per pound until Internal Temperature reaches
140 degrees F.

MEDIUM: 20 minutes
per pound until Internal Temperature reaches

per pound until Internal Temperature reaches

BEEF POT ROASTS
Sear well all over.
Add water to 1/2 height of roast, simmer approximately
1 hour & 15 minutes per pound.
Add onions for flavor.

MARINATED SIRLOIN TIPS
Best on Grill
OR Broil 5 to 7 minutes
each side.

STEAK ROLLUPS
Place on a wire rack
in a pan.
Bake in a
350 degree F oven for
25 minutes.

CORNED BEEF & RIBS
Full boil for 30 minutes, then simmer for 45 minutes per pound.

MEATLOAF
Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 to 45 minutes.

HAMS
All hams are fully cooked.
Bake 12 to 15 minutes per pound at 325 degrees F to heat throughout.

PORK & LAMB ROASTS
30 minutes per pound at
350 degrees F until
Internal Temperatures
reaches 175 degrees F.

Bake 45 to 50 minutes
at 350 degrees F.

A 20 pound turkey will take 4 pounds of stuffing.

Unstuffed: Cook at 350 degrees F for 18 minutes
per pound.

Stuffed: Cook at 350 degrees F for 20 for 25 minutes
per pound

Recipes

Title: Farmhouse Pork and Apple Pie

Yield: 10 Servings

1 lb Bacon; cut into 2" pieces 3 md Onions; chopped 3 lb Boneless pork; cubed 3/4 c All-purpose flour; cooking Oil optional 3 Tart cooking apples; peeled And chopped 1 ts Rubbed sage 1/2 ts Ground nutmeg 1 ts Salt 1/4 ts Pepper 1 c Apple cider 1/2 c Water 4 md Potatoes; peeled and cubed 1/2 c Milk 5 tb Butter or margarine; devided Addtional salt and pepper Snipped parsley; optional Cook bacon in an oven proof 12 in skillet until crisp. Remove with a slotted spoon to paper towels to drain. In drippings, saute onions until tender; remove with a slotted spoon and set aside. Dust pork lightly with flour. Brown a third at a time in drippings, adding oil if needed. Remove from heat and drain. To pork, add bacon, onions,apples,sage,nutmeg,salt and pepper. Stir in cider and water. Cover and bake at 325 degrees for 2 hours or until pork is tender. In a sauce pan, cook potatoes in boiling water until tender. Drain and mash with milk and 3 tablespoons of butter. Add salt and pepper to taste. Remove skillet from oven and spread potatoes over pork mixture. Melt remaining butter;brush over potatoes. Broil 6 in from heat for 5 minutes or until topping is browned. Sprinkle with parsley if desired.

1 1/4 pounds Ground Beef 1/2 pound Ground Lean Pork 2 cups Soft Bread Crumbs -- (2 sl) 1/4 cup Onion -- minced 1 cup Milk 1 Egg -- beaten 2 teaspoons Salt 1/4 teaspoon Pepper 1 dash nutmeg -- cloves OR cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon chili powder -- optional Mix all together. Pack lightly in crockpot with rounded top. Cook on low 8-9 hrs.
